YEREVAN, September 6. /ARKA/. More than 20 IT ministers confirmed their participation in the WCIT-2019 World Congress on Information Technology, scheduled to take place October 6-9 in Yerevan, High Technology Industry Minister Hakob Arshakyan wrote in a Facebook post.

"Ministers from 20 countries responsible for high-tech development will arrive in Armenia to take part in the ministerial round table on the sidelines of WCIT-2019 World Congress on Information Technology," Arshakyan wrote.

The minister urged everyone not to miss the opportunity and take part in this event of an international scale.

The Congress will include sessions on topics ranging from artificial intelligence, virtual reality, smart cities to cybersecurity, climate change, and more.

On the Armenian side, the organizer of the event is the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) under the auspices and with the support of the Armenian government.

WCIT is an international platform for business communications and operations for more than 2 thousand entrepreneurs, innovators, government representatives, supranational organizations, investors and prominent scientists. --0—
