The Armenian Ministry of High-Tech Industry has announced that digital television broadcasting from the Yerevan TV Tower will be temporarily suspended.

Eight companies competing for right to provide digital broadcasting

Armenia’s transport and communications ministry said today it has received proposals fr om eight foreign and local companies as part of a tender announced for introduction and management of overland digital television broadcasting.They are Sav-On-Monolan (the United States), Digital Service (Bulgaria), K-Telecom (Armenia), Harris Communications CIS (Russia), I.S.P.A -SAT (Russia), Nexus Alliance Lim ited (Hong Kong), UCom (Armenia), Armenian Datacom Company (Armenia) and Lans (Armenia).
