Armenia-Founded ‘Space’ Startup DeepSat Secures US Air Force Contract
DeepSat, a startup founded in Armenia and based in Los Angeles (USA) that specializes in creating systems for operational Earth observation from orbit, has been chosen to take part in the Direct to Phase II program under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Initiative (AFWERX) contract from the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).

Armenia-based space startup DeepSat and Redwire Corporation to deploy VLEO satellite constellation
Redwire Corporation, a global leader in aerospace and defense technology solutions, announced on July 22 that it has signed the first phase of a multi-phase contract with DeepSat, an Armenia-based Earth observation startup founded in 2024.
